This year the exhibit is being hosted by Roberto's Restaurant--just two doors from the Desilu Playhouse at 20 West Third Street in downtown Jamestown. Here you'll find a collection of amazing original Lucy artwork: portraits for your wall, a unique soft sculpture of Lucy, Ricky, Fred, & Ethel en route to Hollywood, and even the first-ever "I Love Lucy" screen door!
The exhibit runs now through August 1. On Saturday, August 2 (in conjunction with Lucy's Birthday Celebration), all artwork will be made available to the highest bidder at the Lucy-Desi Memorabilia auction--just one of more than 40 events planned for the August 1-3 festival!

Educated at the State University of New York in Fredonia, Brigitte is an accomplished artist who uses everything from catalytic converters to hoop earrings in her mixed media art designs.

A New Jersey-based artist who creates and sells "Lucy" artwork in the New Jersey area, David’s work can be found in collections in Brazil, Poland, Korea, Switzerland, and the United States. He works in mixed media-acrylic, oil pastel, collage, and creates assemblage sculptures.

A Buffalo-based artist who was "discovered" in 2003 when he generously donated one of his paintings of the famous foursome on their way to California to the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center, Fred has been invited to participate in the “Visions of Lucy” art auction every year since.

Jamestown's own homegrown artist and first time contributor to "Visions of Lucy," John has his own sign business right here in Lucy's hometown, so his talents can be seen all over Jamestown—including at the Lucy-Desi Center!

Dave is an exceptionally talented professional cartoonist who has been drawing Lucille Ball since the 1970s. Lucy herself was so taken with Dave's drawings of her "Lucy Ricardo" character that she purchased his original artwork to display in her Beverly Hills Home. He has also created artwork for several Walt Disney projects and has designed the official logo for three annual "Loving Lucy" conventions as well as the Official 50th Anniversary Lucy Reunion Poster authorized by the Lucille Ball Estate to raise funds for pediatric AIDS research. of the above as part of the auction during Lucy-Desi Days 2008, email the following to

Your bid amount
Please put “auction” in the subject line of your email.
Bids must be received by noon, EST, on Friday, August 1.
We will be contacting you to verify your bid and note payment
arrangements in the event you are the winning bidder. In addition to your bid price, there will
be a 10% buyers fee, shipping charge, and – if shipped within New York State – 7.75% NYS sales tax.
The day of the auction your silent bid will be executed as part
of the live auction. Our bidder will bid on your behalf
incrementally up to the amount you specify.

1. All items have been assigned an opening bid. Bids lower than the assigned opening bid will not be accepted.
2. All items will be sold to the highest bidder.
3. The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. In the event of a dispute among bidders, the auctioneer will decide if it is necessary to reopen the bidding process.
4. A buyer's premium of 10% will be added to the purchase price of each item.
5. All items must be purchased and taken the day of the sale. Winning bidders who wish to have their items shipped to them will be charged a shipping and handling fee based on the weight of the item.
6. Sizes and dimensions listed are approximates.
7. All items are sold as is and all sales are final.
8. New York state residents must pay NY State sales tax of 7.75% unless a valid resale
number is provided.
9. Methods of payment: cash, certified check, personal check with approved identification, or credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, or Discover).
10. An auction preview will be held on Saturday, August 2, prior to the auction for potential bidders to inspect the quality and condition of the auction items.
11. Bidding on an item indicates acceptance of the above conditions.
